Projects (as leader)

  • Cloudmakers Trio plays original music by Jim that lies somewhere between New York's 'downtown' sound and the modern European tradition
  • Duo Plus crept in to being after Ivo and Jim were asked on several occasions to play as a duo and began exploring the different textures that piano and saxophone (Ivo) with drums and vibraphone (Jim) could create.
  • Gemini's music, written by vibes player and bandleader Jim Hart, fuses melodic lyricism with complex rhythmic counterpoint and free improvisation.
