Jasper Høiby moved to London from Copenhagen in the year 2000 to study
double bass and composition at the Royal Academy of Music. Since then
he has been involved in a number of quality music projects, first and
foremost his trio Phronesis: in Scandinavia with pianist Magnus Hjorth
and drummer Anton Eger, and in the UK with Ivo Neame and Patrick
Davey. Phronesis released their debut album Organic Warfare in
November 2007, through the label of the Loop Collective.
As a sideman he collaborates with singers Julia Biel and Marcina
Arnold, Triptych with Steinway artist Richard Fairhurst and New York
drummer Chris Vatalaro; Compassionate Dictatorship with Jez Franks and
Tori Freestone and the Mark Lockheart Group, with Liam Noble, Dave
Priceman and Dave Smith.

Arthurs.Høiby.Ritchie, Kairos 4tet, Compassionate Dictatorship, Fringe
Magnetic, Sam Crowe Group, Mark Lockheart’s ‘In Deep’ and Marius
Neset’s ‘Golden Xplosion’ featuring Django Bates.
